The staff of BONES' Eureka Seven sequel, Eureka Seven: AO (Astral Ocean) has filtered out. Tomoki Kyoda is back on board to direct the follow-up to his most prominent work (unless you count Halo Legends: Prototype). Beyond that, it's not entirely business as usual in Gekkostate.



Animator and Oreimo anime character designer Hiroyuki Oda is replacing the Ghibli veteran Kenichi Yoshida.



Shiho Takeuchi, who was responsible for the original series' second opening and RahXephon's mecha animation, is on design. Kimitoshi Yamane (Cowboy Bebop, Gundam SEED and IGLOO, Escaflowne, Xam'D) joins the returning Takayuki Yanase (Gundam 00) on the mecha design team. Macross creator Shoji Kawamori gets a credit, but whether it's for new work or his contribution to the original is unclear.



Dai Sato's name hasn't been attached to the project, but no other writer has been mentioned either.
