Gainax new "serious" animation project has been confirmed. It is supposed to be Yoh Yoshinari's, legendary super key animator, dream-anime as he did the concept art and pitched the original idea to Imaishi. Gurren-Lagann Imaishi is directing, Nishigori of Lagann is doing character design and Yoshinari himself is acting as main animator. Panty's VA is currently unconfirmed, but Stocking will be voiced by Gainax regular Yukari Fukui, who you will probably remember as Nia in Gurren-Lagann and Nono in Diebuster.
