Cumpliendose el 30 aniversario de la franquicia/serie Mobile Suit Gundam, una de las mas grandes de anime, van a realizar varios eventos:

El primero es la realizacion de una estatua a escala 1:1 de Gundam (RX-79, 18 metros), y quieren hacerlo en Tokyo. La idea es dar la sensacion de enormidad (?) de un Gundam a la gente. Mas adelante, Tomino (basicamente el padre de la franquicia) dijo que queria un Gundam de verdad en vez de una estatua (QUIEN FUCKING NO?).

Van a hacer un festival para Gundam, mostrando una pequeña pelicula sobre las series de Tomino. La idea es celebrar por las series viejas. Agreguenle a eso un Simposio Gundam.

Tercero, festival de musica con artistas de todas las series, UC, CE, 00, y demás.

Y la noticia mas grande seria el anuncio de la pelicula de Gundam Unicorn, en cines para el 2010. La mas grande celebracion para el aniversario.

Con esto cabe destacar que Gundam se viene con todo, por que aparte de Unicorn, tenemos la pelicula de Gundam 00 (tambien para el 2010), y una serie de Ovas basados en la epoca del One Year War aftermath, especificamente situada en 0081.

El motto del aniversario seria: "No se mira al pasado. Ve hacia el futuro."
